on't
feed the ducks. Don't feed ‘em golf balls,
I mean. With five sets of tees, Mallard Pointe has
a game for every handicap. Situated in Mississippi's
beautiful John Kyle State Park, this course offers
golfers spectacular views of the state's northern
countryside. The course itself is crafted on a rolling
terrain and challenges the golfer with a variety
of Signature holes and undulating greens. Some have
said that Mallard Pointe never plays the same way
twice. And with slightly over 7,000 yards to play
from, you can easily understand why they would make
that statement. Others have said, “Get a yardage
book.” And when you see the challenge that
lies before you, you can easily understand why it
would make the course a lot more playable. Yet others
have said, “Wind.” That's it. Just,
“Wind.” If the wind whips up, it is
a factor. But not one that can't be overcome by
the previously mentioned yardage book and smart
club selection. By the way, if you send a ball near
other players, it's still recommended you yell FORE!
And not DUCK! (Ha cha cha.)
