But in a “Love Me Tender” moment, the designer created tee boxes to fit every level of golfer. Tracy May, formerly an associate of renowned designer Pete Dye, went to great lengths to design a challenging, yet playable, course that embraced and enhanced its natural surroundings. So as you maneuver around more than 70 acres of water, well-placed bunkers and rolling fairways of hybrid 419 bermuda grass, keep an eye out for the native wildlife that call Big Oaks their home.
